Mayor Adams' administration is launching a new effort to try and fill vacant office buildings to attract big companies to New York City.

The administration is launching a program that offers incentives for companies that sign a lease for a minimum of 20-thousand square feet at qualifying office buildings. Mayor Adams says the goal is attract 15 high level new tenants by the end of the year.

"Our administration sees vacant space not as a turnaround but as an opportunity as we move forward. And we want to revitalize and reimagine places like midtown."

The administration is also creating a new International Landing Pad Network. Officials say this will support growing international companies in their expansion to New York City.
