The weather is looking good for the New York City Marathon on Sunday.
More than 50-thousand runners from roughly 150 countries with ages ranging from 8 to 88 are expected to take part in the 26 point two mile race. New York Road Runners CEO Rob Simmelkjaer says runners will experience the excitement of New Yorkers cheering for them as they make their way through the five boroughs.
"They are running through the same beautiful neighborhoods of New York City and they are all going to get the very same medal."
New this year, there are therapy dogs at the starting line to help people ramin clam before the race starts. There's also an official victory party afterward.
