The MTA is going to be adding stores and eateries at the new Grand Central Madison.
The Grand Central Madison area run by the Long Island Rail Road will feature retail and dining that's separate from the Grand Central Terminal retail run by Metro North. The MTA's Janno Lieber says the agency is looking for businesses to fill 32 spaces inside the new busy terminal.
"This is the time to do it. New York's comeback is well underway ,even post pandemic. East Midtown is still the most dynamic, highest value add business district in the world."
Grand Central Madison has been open a little over a year, allowing Long Island Rail Road riders to have direct access to Manhattan’s east side.
