New York City officials are blaming IBM for log in problems faced for remote learning during yesterday's snow storm.
New York City's School Chancellor David Banks says scores of parents had frustration logging their children on for remote learning at the start of the school day.
"And those systems are completely tied to the work that we do with IBM. IMB is the one who authenticates users and the user names. In a word IBM was not ready for prime time."
Banks apologized to parents and says the matter will be investigated so things will go smoother on the next all remote day. IBM eventually addressed the connectivity issues for students to log in later in the school day. IBM released a statement saying part, "We regret the inconvenience to students and parents across the city,"
