New York City Mayor Eric Adams is expressing confidence there's no wrongdoing following last week's FBI raid of the home of his top fundraiser.

The mayor was hit with 40 minutes of questions on the FBI investigating into whether his 2021 mayoral campaign conspired with the Turkish government to receive illegal donations.

"I would be shocked if someone states that our campaign coordinated in illegal behavior."

Adams says he has hired a lawyer and will cooperate fully. He expressed confidence his top campaign fundraiser Briana Suggs followed all rules. The mayor was questioned on his numerous trips to Turkey. He says they were an effort to of attract people to New York. He rattled off a list of other countries visited for the same reason.
