A new survey shows most employers will offer a hybrid work model going forward in Manhattan.
The Partnership for New York City recently surveyed 160 major employers. It finds about four out of five companies in Manhattan will have a hybrid work from office and home model after the coronavirus pandemic. Kathryn Wilde is the President of the Partnership.
“It’s going to mean a lot fewer of the one million Manhattan office workers are going to be taking subways every day, are going to be shopping in the local stores. It’s a big change.”
The Partnership survey also finds just eight percent of Manhattan employees are back at the office five days a week now and more than one in four are fully remote.
