Bloomberg Donates Money To Help Struggling Students Following Pandemic School Disruptions

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is helping students After two years of school disruptions because of the pandemic.

Michael Bloomberg is donating 50 million dollars to help struggling public charter school children with learning gaps that have been exacerbating by the coronavirus pandemic.

“Without urgent help, many of them will fall even further behind which could have devastating effects on their chances for graduating high school and going to high school or beginning a career.”

Bloomberg Philanthropies is launching the Summer Boost Program for 25 thousand K through 12th grade public charter school children. This builds on the the city’s Summer Rising education program.
