WBGO is in the running to win a Chase Community Giving grant - a program created by Chase to give to small and local charities. Through the Facebook app, Chase Community Giving, people with a Faceook account can vote to help determine which small and local non profits will receive donations totally $5,000,000 from Chase's philanthropy funds this spring.

Update: Voting ends in less than 10 hours. We are currently ranked at #101 and we need your help to get back in the game. Please do the following as soon as you can:

    1. Vote
    2. Tell your friends. Copy and past this message into your Facebook, Twitter, or other social media status:

    3. Email friends about the contest & WBGO!

You can vote here. Voting in Round 1 ends at 11:59pm TONIGHT!

The 100 organizations which receive the most votes will win $25,000 each! Then, Round 2 begins, where the top 25 organizations will win between $20,000 and $500,000 more.

You have an opportunity to make a meaningful difference for WBGO. The time to cast a vote and spread the word is NOW. Please encourage friends and family to participate in support of WBGO.

Support for WBGO enables the station to continue amazing programs such as the free WBGO Kids Jazz Concert Series (the spring season ends on Saturday at NJPAC with Jon Faddis), as well as continuing award-winning news, new technologies like our mobile app, gallery receptions which are open to the community, broadcasts of performances heard nowhere else and so much more.

If you don't have a Facebook account, you can sign up for free at www.facebook.com. If you prefer not to have an account with Facebook, or prefer not to vote in this contest, you can still support the effort by emailing friends, posting to your website or other social media account and through word of mouth.

Thanks so much for your support!
