    On May 31, 2010, Piano Legend Hank Jones passed away.  WBGO celebrates the life and music of Hank Jones this Saturday at 3pm.  Hear two interviews with the piano giant plus an exclusive Jazz 88 recording of him in duo with bassist Bob Cranshaw in 2007.  Hear a preview of the broadcast below.

    In the last few decades, June has become the busiest month for jazz in New York City, home to the biggest jazz scene in the world. But who is actually going to these shows? A small team of Bloggers Supreme has been attending the festivities -- primarily, the CareFusion Jazz Festival New York. In between our reports on various goings-on, we'll be talking to the some of the people who are actually in the audience.
