Jazz Memorial for Rob Crocker to be held at Saint Peter’s Church in NYC on June 24

On Monday, June 24, WBGO will present a celebration of the life and legacy of radio host and jazz producer Rob Crocker, to be held at Saint Peter’s Church, which has been the site of many memorials and celebrations-of-life for jazz musicians throughout the decades.  This memorial is organized and funded by WBGO-FM with underwriting from the family of Rob Crocker, Saint Peter's Church, The Jazz Foundation of America, and Bob’s Your Uncle.

The memorial begins at 6:30 p.m. and runs for two hours. There will be a reception at Bob's Your Uncle after the concert. Among the artists confirmed to perform during the celebration are: Steve Cromity; Steve Davis; Willerm Delisfort; Dezron Douglas; Lezlie Harrison; Louis Hayes; Steven Kroon; Mike LeDonne; Antoinette Montague; Cynthia Scott; TCIII. More performers to be announced in the coming weeks. The event is free, but people interested in attending should register at the EventBrite page here.
