WBGO presented a celebration of the life and legacy of radio host and jazz producer Rob Crocker, to be held at Saint Peter’s Church, which has been the site of many memorials and celebrations-of-life for jazz musicians throughout the decades. This memorial is organized and funded by WBGO-FM with underwriting from the family of Rob Crocker, Saint Peter's Church, The Jazz Foundation of America, and Bob’s Your Uncle.
The memorial ran for more than two hours. There was a reception at Bob's Your Uncle after the concert. Among the artists who performed during the celebration were: Steve Cromity; Steve Davis; Willerm Delisfort; Dezron Douglas; Lezlie Harrison; Louis Hayes; Steven Kroon; Mike LeDonne; Antoinette Montague; Cynthia Scott; TCIII. More performers to be announced in the coming weeks.
