About WBGO.ORG

First launched in 1995 and subsequently re-launched with a brand new look on June 8, 2001, the WBGO web site has become one of the leading jazz radio station web sites on the Internet. As a highly popular destination for WBGO's listeners and jazz enthusiasts from all over the world, WBGO.ORG provides its visitors with rich, original content, such as programming and membership information, interviews, event schedules, playlists, soundbytes, and of course, WBGO's own live stream on the web!

This web site has been formatted for optimal viewing on screen resolutions of at least 832 by 624 pixels and a color depth of at least 16-bit (thousands of colors). Most monitors and video cards will support this configuration. See the instructions below for changing screen resolutions:

Microsoft Windows

1. Select Settings >> Control Panel from the Start menu
2. Open the Display control panel and click on the Settings tab
3. Adjust the Screen Area gauge to a resolution of at least 800 by 600 or higher
4. Select a Color depth of at least High Color (16-bit)
5. Click the Apply button - if the screen looks fine then accept the setting (a restart may be required depending on the configuration of your system)
6. Click the Close button

Mac OS

1. Select Control Panels >> Monitors from the Apple menu
2. Select a Resolution of at least 832 x 624
3. Select a Color Depth of at least Thousands
4. Close the Monitors control panel

Additonal (Optional) Software

The WBGO.ORG web site is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and Netscape Communicator 4.72 or higher. Users of AOL's built-in browser may have difficulty viewing our site and should use a dedicated web browser instead.
