p>n the mid-90s I attended the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and a very small boy was making quick an
impression on the trombone. Nicknamed “Trombone Shorty,” Troy Andrews was the darling of the festival. This may be one
of the few existing photos of Troy from that period, as he told me his family lost all of their photos to Katrina. Glad I found my
photos from that festival.
