Ran into drummer Neal Smith (left) in the atrium at Jazz at Lincoln Center on September 28 where young drummer Evan Sherman was playing a pre-concert gig with the Emmet Cohen trio. Sherman, according to Smith (who should know!) is a drummer to watch out for.
