Many of the artists who recorded for Arbors Records came to Feinstein’s at Loew’s Regency on November 5 to pay tribute to Arbors’ founder Matt Domber, who passed away in September. The bandstand was so crowded that guitarist James Chirillo had no choice but to share Howard Alden’s guitar and Howard Alden’s lap. Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon cant believe his eyes, but he “gets it” on his iPhone.
