Trombonist Art Baron is ready to leave, but he stops to express his awe of Steven Bernstein’s knowledge of danish pastry after a performance at PS 225 in Coney Island with About The Swing, a non-profit that brings jazz music to New York City public schools. Steven was getting ready to leave for a gig in Poland, and he was hungry after introducing 6th and 7th graders to the music of Louis Armstrong. May 9, 2013.

I was Sears Studio in Manhattan with Frank Wess when he was recording with Wycliffe Gordon, Kenny Barron , Jimmy Owens and other guest artists. Just heard from producer Bill Sorin the the cd is finished and about to be distributed. Cant wait to hear it!
