Multi-instrumentalist/arranger/composer Dan Block–who plays often with big bands–lead his own group at Zeb’s on January
10, 2013. In this photo, Dan is playing his “Chorino for Dennis,” after speaking about how important the late Dennis Irwin was
to him. I heard this from Dan just the day before drummer Matt Wilson, in a talk at the APAP conference, said he’d “groove anything for another half hour with Dennis Irwin.”
