As an overflow crowd of friends, fans and fellow musicians gathered on May 11 at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York City for a tribute to pianist Dave Brubeck who passed away in December a day before his 92nd birthday, bassists Rufus Reed and Michael Moore exchange stories. Moore was a member of Brubeck’s last ensemble.
