I came to WBGO in 2007 after having spent the preceding four years as the program manager for a touring children’s theater and a PR consultant for a NY based theater-arts production company.
Currently my position as Development Coordinator enables me to facilitate the projects and outreach initiatives undertaken by the WBGO Donor Development and Corporate/Foundation Relations divisions. Together with Membership, they are responsible for generating the financial support needed to keep WBGO going strong and there’s never a dull moment!
Having graduated college with a BA in Communications/Broadcast Advertising, I subsequently acquired a broadcasting license and prior to heading to Los Angeles to peruse a career as a rock musician, I worked as an announcer at a radio station in South Jersey.
I’ve been lucky enough to realize many of my dreams but there are a few still pending. My off hours are filled with creative pursuits and most often you’ll find me writing songs, screenplays, children’s stories or cooking along-side my husband. Yet out of the many rewarding things I do and could do, I’m happiest when singing with the two classic rock bands I’m a part of. As I see it, there’s nothing better than being able to do something you truly love.
