Governor Christie has signed legislation that increases gambling options to include mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets. Assemblyman John Burzichelli who co-sponsored the bill says it is designed to be a convenience for casino patrons who can continue to gamble while enjoying other amenities.
“We have made a commitment to give Atlantic City the tools to evolve into a true resort destination, these kinds of amenities are a part of that it’s available in Las Vegas and now in New Jersey as soon as the rules and regulations are set up and the technology is in place.”
Burzichelli says it will not only benefit the consumer, but also provide additional casino tax revenue.
