This weekend New York’s Hudson Valley will be alive with the sounds of Jazz for its annual Jazz Festival.
The festival features some of today’s most notable jazz artists along with upcoming local musicians. Steve Rueben the festivals producer says there is a surprisingly rich music and art culture within NY’s Hudson Valley.
“The juxtaposition of this city jazz mindset tucked into this beautiful rural setting, its unique, it gives people an opportunity to get that city jazz vibe, but their doing it in a vacation environment.”
Rueben says it is these local events that promote the heritage of Jazz and support its future as an art form.
