BrickCity cuisine will take center stage next month when Newark celebrates its second
restaurant week since the Fall of 2008.
Mayor Cory Booker says restaurant week brings in additional revenue to city businesses.
“Just foot traffic. Restaurants in other cities have seen in upwards of 25 percent of their business for an entire year in restaurant week because people get the opportunity to explore and enjoy at a lower price these set menus and they get to have a taste of cuisine from around the globe here in Newark.”
Some participating restaurants will offer a pre-fixe menu and a discount of up to 15 percent. The event runs from July 6th until July 16th.
