Spend Valentine’s Day with your special loved one at Dorthaan’s Place, where the jazz brunch series hosts Newark-born vocalist Antoinette Montague, a jazz singer who moves effortlessly between gutsy blues and hushed romantic ballads.
Montague has played most of the major jazz clubs in New York and recently returned from Israel with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra. She was the first jazz and blues entertainer to perform at the opening of the Belgrade Philharmonic in the Soviet Union. “Jazz players love to accompany a genuine jazz singer, and Antoinette Montague is as real as they come,” says Jazz Times.more

4 time Grammy nominated pianist Gerald Clayton has established himself as fluent in the range of styles that make up today's jazz lexicon. Son of bassist, composer and bandleader John Clayton, Gerald grew up around music and knew from early on that it is what he would be doing for the rest of his life. He has recorded with artists such as Diana Krall, Terrell Stafford, Terri Lynne Carrington as well as three albums of his own.
