In the first part (July 30, 2009) of this special two-part series, a collaboration with WNYC, our group of panelists takes a look at the impact on the central Brooklyn communities of Crown Heights and Bed-Stuy. In the follow-up, August 6, 2009, hosted by WBGO News Director Doug Doyle, we were joined by community activists and stake-holders who shared their experiences, thoughts, and observations about Newark and did a little brainstorming about possible solutions.
