topMarcia Ball stopped by WBGO last week to chat with Michael Bourne and perform some tunes with her trio. Mike Schermer (guitar) and Thad  Scott (tenor sax) supported the songstress whose honest blues  carried throughout the entire live set. In celebration of a performance at B.B. King's, she performed new material including "The Party's Still Going On", an upbeat boogie-woogie blues. Marcia Ball sings for her country, the working class folk, uplifting music for a much needed uplifting time. Check out this special, intimate performance.
