Click to hear audio from this concert, and at the bottom of the page for all of our 2013 JAM Student Festival broadcasts.
The ensemble, directed by Juilliard professor and drummer Carl Allen with Christopher Ziemba on piano, Jeremy Noller on drums, John Tate on bass, Michael Thomas alto saxophone and Robert Haight on tenor, played original compositions as well as ones by Duke Ellington and Sonny Rollins. A full set list is below.

The ensemble, which is led by drummer Ralph Peterson with Erena Terakubo on alto saxophone, Daniel Ko on tenor, Tomer Ron on trumpet, Davis Whitfield on piano, Jared Mulcahy on bass, Anthony Tóth on drums and Kazuhiro Odagiri on percussion, played their own compositions.
