WBGO Jam Live: New School For Jazz Improv Ensemble

The group, directed by bassist Reggie Workman, is Jordan Carrington on piano, Albert Baliwas on alto sax, Devin Starks on bass, Benjamin Katz on tenor sax, Francesco Alessi on drums and Sam Neufeld on trumpet. They played original compositions and others by Charles Mingus and Tina Brooks. A full set list is below.

The ensemble, directed by Juilliard professor and drummer Carl Allen with Christopher Ziemba on piano, Jeremy Noller on drums, John Tate on bass, Michael Thomas alto saxophone and Robert Haight on tenor, played original compositions as well as ones by Duke Ellington and Sonny Rollins.
