The group, directed by David Berkman with Jan Kus on tenor saxophone, Marius Duboule and Jorge Luis Mora on guitar, Tuomo Uusitalo on piano, Eduardo Belo on bass and Piotr Pawlak on drums, performed their own compositions and jazz standards. A full set list is below.

Directed by Gabriel Alegria with Yael Litwin on cajón, Dillon Treacy on drums, Ross Kratter on double bass, Grady Tesch on vibraphone, Marc Sundermeyer on acoustic guitar and guest master percussionist Freddy "Huevito" Lobatón, the group performed their own compositions and an arrangement of George Gershwin's "Summertime," and were interviewed by WBGO host Michael Bourne in between songs. Add new comment | Filed under: gary walker, InterviewsSinger Catherine Russell talks with WBGO's Gary Walker about her performances at Jazz At Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club Coca Cola from April 25 through 28, which will celebrate her mother, bassist and vocalist Carline Ray, who performed in the 1940s with the all-female band the International Sweethearts of Rhythm, as well as with Mercer Ellington and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. Enjoy!
