Today was Jazz Giants Day. Rhonda played some of the bigguns of this music in honor of the Giants Super Bowl appearance. If you were listening you heard Diz, Satch, Miles and many others in what was, for me, a great mid-day's worth of jazz. Singer sandy Sasso was in today. She's one of our most loyal volunteers and cooks and bakes like a mad woman for us and for her fellow volunteers. Today there was roast beet soup and chicken pot pie, not to mention a variety of super tasty banana nut and other bread. Yum!
I told you I'd be blogging every day I was on the air, and today we said we'd post some of your comments. It's true, real people just like you are pledging their hard-earned cash to this radio station because they know that we rock the jazz all over the world like nobody else. Here are just a few comments:

Lisa from Weehawken, NJ pledged $XXXX as a NEW pledge! (12:14:37) Note: I was thrilled to stumble upon WBGO! My radio is on 24-7! I even listen while I'm asleep
