    - At 6:30 p.m. on The Checkout, host Josh Jackson presents pianist Omar Sosa and other highlights from this year’s Voll-Damm Barcelona jazz festival.

    - At 7:30 p.m. on Latino USA, host Maria Hinojosa remembers Haitian human rights activist Sonia Pierre, who passed away this week Hinojosa interviewed her last summer as part of a documentary on abuses of Haitian immigrants living in the Dominican Republic.
