    Today at WBGO:

    - A 7:30 p.m., join us for this week's WBGO Journal, our award-winning public affairs program with host Doug Doyle.

    - Check the blog for the latest installment of Dr. Lewis Porter's "You Don't Know Jazz!" column, this time on jazz and film, as well as Dr. Michael Bourne's exclusive interview with Paquito D'Rivera, who will play the music of Argentine composer Astor Piazzola this weekend at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

    - We had a great time with Bill McHenry live from the Village Vanguard on Wednesday night. If you missed the show, visit The Checkout's show page to hear it again, and to hear host Josh Jackson's interview with McHenry, plus an exclusive playlist!

    - On Wednesday, November 16, WBGO hosts a members night at the 92Y Tribeca, with vibraphonist Warren Wolff and Wolfpack and guitarist Lage Lund. Members will get to meet the artists, a free gift and refreshments, and your choice of the best seats in the house. See you there!
