    Guitarist Allan Harris spoke with  WBGO's Michael Bourne on October 16 about his new CD of original compositions, "Open Up Your Mind," and his life on the road as as a globetrotting performer. Bourne's conversation with Harris features the album's title track, as well as "Shores of Istanbul", "There She Goes"  and "Autumn."

    Harris describes himself as an "ambassador of love for the world" in this candid interview.  He is in New York for the next month, and you can catch him every Sunday through December 4th at Smoke Jazz Club on Manhattan's Upper West Side.
