- At 6 p.m., join us for a free members event on the Rutgers-Newark campus: tour the Institute of Jazz Studies, see their Louis Armstrong exhibit, enjoy the film In Good Time: The Piano Jazz of Marian McPartland and meet the filmmaker, Huey.

- At 7:30 p.m., join host Doug Doyle for our award-winning current affairs program, the WBGO journal. Topics this week include The Community Food Bank, author SJ Rozan and a new play about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., The Mountaintop.

- On Wednesday, November 16, WBGO hosts a members night at the 92Y Tribeca, with vibraphonist Warren Wolff and Wolfpack and guitarist Lage Lund. Members will get to meet the artists, a free gift and refreshments, and your choice of the best seats in the house. See you there!

- At 6:30 p.m., virtuoso pianist and master composer Joanne Brackeen joins host Marian McPartland on Piano Jazz. Brackeen has been called "the Picasso" of jazz piano, and like McPartland, she has been a trailblazer for women in jazz.

- On JazzSet on 6:30 p.m., harmonica virtuoso Toots Thielemans and pianist Kenny Werner play in a set recorded at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC in April.

- At 7:30 p.m., former New York Liberty center Kym Hampton joins host Doug Doyle on SportsJam.

- WBGO's Champions of Jazz Benefit tomorrow evening will honor Jimmy Heath and Tommy LiPuma, with performances by Natalie Cole, Roy Hargrove, Joe Lovano, Russell Malone, Lizz Wright, and much more. Thanks to all who plan to attend and see you there!
