Kenny Clarke- At 6:30 p.m. on Jazz at Lincoln Center, host Wendell Pierce reviews highlights from the NEA's Jazz Masters Awards, which each year for the past thirty years grants the nation's highest honor to jazz musicians. This year's Jazz Masters Awards will take place at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, and will be broadcast live at WBGO.
- At 7:30 p.m. on The New Jersey Capitol Report, hosts Steve Adubato and Rafael Pi Roman talk with Ralph LaRossa, President of PSE&G, Chip Gerrity, president of Local Union 94 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and more.

- At 7:30 p.m. on Latino USA, host Maria Hinojosa and contributors review memories of Navidades in the distant and not-so-distant past, and what the holidays brought for their families and themselves.
- On our blog, WBGO says goodbye to trombonist Bob Brookmeyer, who passed away last Thursday, three days shy of his 82nd birthday, with a highlight from a 1986 performance by Brookmeyer with trumpeter Clark Terry and the Tommy Flanagan Trio.
