    WBGO was proud to present a live broadcast from New York's Village Vanguard on Wednesday, December 5 at 9 p.m., with saxophonist Steve Wilson, Renee Rosnes on piano and Peter Washington on bass.

    Our next live broadcasts will be on December 12 from the 92Y Tribeca with pianist Geri Allen and The Cookers, and on January 30 with pianist David Vireilles.

    WBGO presented the Sound Prints Quintet live from New York's Village Vanguard on Wednesday, November 28 at 9 p.m., with The Sound Prints Quintet. Tenor saxophonist Joe Lovano and trumpeter Dave Douglas and saxophonist Joe Lovano were joined by Linda Oh on bass, Lawrence Fields on piano and Joey Baron on drums.

  • The Checkout Live from Berklee: Dayna Stephens Quartet

    WBGO presented a live broadcast of saxophonist Dayna Stephens with Julian Lage on guitar, Kiyoshi Kitagawa on bass and Jaimeo Brown on drums, live from the Red Room @ Cafe 939, at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, on November 15 at 8 p.m.

    Co-presented by WBGO, NPR Music, and Berklee, this concert was part of a series hosted by Josh Jackson that brings critically acclaimed, New York-based Berklee alumni back to their alma mater for concerts.
