Studio Session: "Question of Perspective" by Gilfema + 2

The core ensemble is guitarist Lionel Loueke (GILles), drummer FErenc Nemeth, and bassist MAssimo Biolcati. The trio of internationalists - they are natives of Benin, Hungary, and Italy/Sweden, respectively - recently released their second recording for the independent label ObliqSound, and they've added clarinet and bass clarinet to their already distinctive sound. French-born Dutch clarinetist Joris Roelofs subbed for Israeli Anat Cohen, and John Ellis (American, if the name didn't immediately give it away) added some interesting reed sonority to Gilfema. Check them out above, on Ferenc Nemeth's "Question of Perspective."
