    6Amy Cervini had never heard the cool and quirky singer Blossom Dearie when a listener suggested they sound alike. On hearing her, the classically trained pianist turned vocalist immediately felt a kindred spirit with Dearie, known for her wit and swing.

    For her third solo album, Cervini pays homage to Dearie with a band of New York all-stars including Matt Wilson and Anat Cohen. Listen to Michael Bourne's interview with Amy Cervini below.
